“Truth will ultimately prevail where there are pains taken to bring it to light.” George Washington said this. It would seem that the truth would be revealed through all the investigating going on. What is the truth?
The riddle of life has been debated over and over. The beginning of time and the origin of the world are a mystery. We are born and we die. Those are facts. All else is debatable. If we are fortunate, we are introduced to faith that is beyond ourselves.
Call it what you want or will. The current state of circumstances in the USA is in great flux. All I know is that Donald J. Trump is our president, elected by the American people over a slate of 16 superior candidates, any one of whom would have been a capable president of the United States. That is an amazing fact. As far as we know, that is the truth.
Now there is a hatchet corps out there conniving and slamming this man, trying to deprive him of the presidency. Many defamatory assertions of lack of character are circulating without proof, accompanied by accusatory suggestions of imprisonment and treason. Webster’s Dictionary defines treason as action to overthrow the government, while sedition is writings that encourage an overthrow.
Americans are growing impatient with the chaotic turmoil between the two political parties. The country is in need of divine intervention. It is demoralizing to have nearly half the country engaged in criticism and character assassination of the president, resulting in impeachment proceedings.
