Cyberbullying is real. It does affect people. A cyberbully will probably think it’s just one comment, but that one comment has meaning. The victim will read that comment, and it will be meaningful.
When you’re looking at comments on your social media posts, you expect meaningful comments just like if the person told it to you. If you see something mean, it’s just like they told it to you. When you have a conversation with someone through text, it feels like a conversation. You are connecting with that person just like you would be talking to someone.
It’s no different from reading a mean text. Cyberbullying is still bullying.
