Police are investigating a shots-fired call that happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Tilghman Road regarding the incident. When police arrived, they spoke with 41-year-old Sabino Rangel of Wilson who told them someone had shot into his apartment while he was inside, according to Sgt. Steve Stroud.

As a result of the incident, a home in the 1600 block of Pecan Court was also struck, Stroud said.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a black man who was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The shooter ran away after firing the gun, according to officials.
