The Toisnot softball team set up a showdown of unbeatens with Springfield later this week by seizing a 19-3 victory against Speight on Monday.
With a 10-0 record, the Lady Hawks visit Springfield on Wednesday and oppose the Lady Wildcats at home on Thursday.
Jada Lamm spearheaded Monday’s win. In the circle, she notched 15 strikeouts and, at the plate, Lamm slugged two home runs.

The host Elm City girls soccer team stretched its undefeated streak to nine matches by a 5-0 margin against Springfield on Monday.
Either Caroline Adkins or Erin Pope was involved in every scoring play as the Lady Vikings forged a 4-0 halftime lead.
Atkins netted the first goal in the 19th minute on an assist from Pope. The same combination clicked two minutes later. Pope drilled in her goal in the 26th minute on an assist from Hannah Mosley. Mosley concluded the first-half scoring in the 28th minute on an assist from Pope.
Adkins, in the 53rd minute, completed her hat trick (three goals) on an assist from Avery Lentz.
Elm City goalkeeper Mallory Jenkins notched five saves.
The Lady Vikings welcome Darden on Wednesday.
