Enjoy some live music and good food and help a musical cause at Jamming for the Juniors June 2 from 2 to 10 p.m. at 217 Brew Works, beside Whirligig Park.

Proceeds from the event will go toward buying musical instruments for the Save-A-Youth music program.

Bands TripleWide, Fat Mouth and Kelly Smith and Associates will perform as well as acoustic acts.

Any band or musician wishing to participate can call Dale Bryce at 252-548-7954.

Wood-fired, brick oven pizzas will be sold at the event.

If you donate a musical instrument in good condition, you will receive a gift card from an area business.

For information about the event, contact Jimmy Sink at 919-795-4693.
