Price to manage 2 Southern Bank branches

BAILEY — Courtney Jones Price has been named Southern Bank’s banking officer and southern Nash County market manager. She will manage Southern Bank’s offices in both Bailey and Middlesex.

She has been employed in the banking industry for the past 11 years.

A native of Wilson, Price attended Methodist University in Fayetteville and Wilson Community College, where she earned an associate in arts degree. She is also a graduate of the Wilson Chamber of Commerce’s Dynamic Leadership program.

Price is the current vice president of the Wilson County Shrinettes and she is a past secretary. She is a past member of the Wilson Chamber Ambassadors.

Price and her husband, Ryan Price, reside in Wilson County with their daughter Carson. She is a member of Marsh Swamp Church in Sims.

Southern Bank and Trust Co. operates more than 60 branches in eastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia. Founded in 1901, the Mount Olive-based community bank has more than $2.5 billion of assets under management.
