The undefeated Toisnot football team left Springfield its fifth victim by a 46-0 margin Thursday in remaining atop the South Division in the Tricounties Athletic Conference.
Scoring touchdowns for the Hawks were JahNille Jones, ShyQuan Baker, Detavious Jones, Ceonte Jones, Tre’Shawn Bellamy, El Avent and Jahmar Jones.
Detavious Jones returned an interception for a TD, while Bellamy recovered a fumble and returned it for a TD. Jahmar Jones’ TD came on a punt return.
JahNille Jones rushed for 82 yards to lead Toisnot, while Baker picked up 47 yards.
Ceonte Jones and Avent were each credited with four tackles.
Caleb Hinnant paced Toisnot with seven tackles, while Canary Bynum had four.
Springfield, coming off its first win in at least five seasons, fell to 1-3.
The Hawks, who lead the South Division by one game over Speight, visit Elm City on Thursday in a game that can wrap up sole posesssion of the Wilson County Championship.
