Dining out next week at various local eateries can help the United Way of Wilson during its Week of Caring fundraiser.

Last year’s Day of Caring was so successful that United Way staff expanded the event to an entire week in order to accommodate the schedules of the various restaurants. Proceeds go directly toward the United Way of Wilson’s general campaign, going on now.

Monday’s restaurant partner is Buffalo Wild Wings donating 10 percent of its earnings from lunch and dinner.

Tuesday features Zaxby’s, donating 10 percent of dinner proceeds, and Chili’s, donating 10 percent of sales from the entire day.

Subway, located at The Shoppes at Brentwood, will participate Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and donate 10 percent. Moe’s Southwest Grill is also taking part during Wednesday’s dinner hours, donating 15 percent of its proceeds.

Cupcake Dream fans will have all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday to enjoy specialty sweets and help out the United Way of Wilson, with 10 percent of earnings going to the 2018 campaign.

Daniel’s Fine Dining will donate 10 percent of its lunch proceeds from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Bill’s Grill will participate Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and donate 10 percent of its proceeds.
