Kountry Kitchen owner Tim Whitley revived the Kountry Kitchen several years ago after the long-standing restaurant lay dormant for quite some time. From the beginning, he knew his focus should be on one thing: quality. Quality ingredients, quality staff and a quality environment for locals to enjoy "fine country food." The strategy has paid off. The feedback from the lunch buffets and "kountry breakfasts" is nothing but positive, and the restaurant's space is at its maximum capacity most days.

Pizza Inn, a Wilson landmark, continues to offer its time-tested variety of pizzas, pastas, appetizers, sandwiches, desserts and more through dine-in, carry-out, buffet and convenient drive-thru window. But the restaurant is not comfortable resting on its trusted 50-plus-year history with the people of Wilson County. In December 2017, Pizza Inn began running its popular all-you-can-eat buffet all the time, making it the “seven-day, everyday buffet.” The buffet is kept fully stocked with delicious choices from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Saturday is also Kids' Day, with free face painting being offered for kids during the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
